Role Description

A rare part-time role for a legal practitioner with at least 4 years’ PAE. A consultant or casual role may be considered for the right candidate.

The work will be varied, and no day is the same. You will provide advice and other legal services to aged care, retirement living, NDIS and/or healthcare organisations. You will have a strong understanding of the complex laws that regulate at least one of these sectors. 

You will work directly with a Solicitor Director who embraces a fresh and modern approach to legal practice. You will have the option of working remotely, from our Sydney CBD office, or a combination of both. You will enjoy a flexible and supportive environment with a strong emphasis on mentoring and development.

You will be solution-driven, commercial and pragmatic, focused on understanding our clients’ needs, and able to achieve excellent results while working autonomously. 

What you need

We welcome applications from lawyers who:

• have at least 4 year's PAE;

• have a current practising certificate;

• have a deep understanding of the laws regulating one or more of the aged care, retirement living, NDIS and healthcare sectors;

• have experience advising aged care, retirement living, NDIS and/or health organisations;

• have strong plain English drafting skills and the ability to explain complex issues to clients clearly and concisely;

• have unwavering attention to detail and technical excellence;

• have a strong client focus and a demonstrated focus on forming enduring relationships with clients and industry experts;

• take pride in their work and who they work for; and

• do not need a traditional office environment to thrive.
